Getting on board with change

Organisational change is often something that is imposed by necessity, rather than implemented voluntarily. It is very often done without the time or resources for proper consultation. That means that while the people who are charged with change management may feel positive about the change, there is an incorrect assumption that others will too. Change is often, unintentionally, communicated with little or no empathy for those it affects.

Up to 80% of your staff will be at risk from an ambivalent or negative reaction to change, such as absenteeism, unexpected or unwanted staff turnover and reduced productivity – at exactly the time when your business needs to maintain stability. Even the smallest minority demonstrating negative feelings, can be truly toxic to the rest of the team.

This workshop addresses the ‘human factors’ of Change Management, rather than the many text book theories of planning, strategy and logistics.
